The programme has been accredited by the National Council of Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) and IIT Madras.

GUVI has curated the AI programme in nine Indian languages. The Union education minister in a tweet said the programme will equip youth with frontier skills. This is a good beginning towards dismantling language barrier in technology education and future-proofing our youth, particularly those in rural areas, he added.

Talking to mediapersons, he said, “Six months ago in our public domain, no one knew about Chat GPT. But now it is the most discussed tool in our schooling system.”

“Chat GPT is a new kind of challenge between human and artificial intelligence.Today we are able to train our youth through AI but I believe they will choose human intelligence because AI is developed by human intelligence,” Pradhan said.

The minister also said that he has encouraged GUVI to curate courses in all Indian languages.
