UP NEET PG counselling 2024 registration last date extended again; apply by 11 am tomorrow

NEW DELHI: The Director General Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh has once again extended the registration last date for UP NEET PG counselling 2024 for admission into MD, MS, PG diploma, DNB courses. Candidates will now be able to apply for round 1 UP NEET PG 2024 counselling till September 30 up to 11 am. The application form for the state NEET PG counselling has been hosted on the official website, upneet.gov.in.
The counselling registration deadline was recently extended to September 28 till 5 pm. It has been revised again now. The UP state NEET PG registration portal will be active only once for all rounds, it informed.
Those candidates seeking admission to government and private medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh will have to register before the deadline for further selection. The DGME UP will conduct a total of four rounds of NEET PG counselling - round 1, round 2, round 3, and stray vacancy round. Applicants will be able to apply through the official websites upneet.gov.in and www.dgme.up.gov.in.
As per the eligibility criteria, candidates who have qualified the NEET PG exam 2024 and have completed the one-year compulsory rotatory internship on or before June 30 for MDS, and August 15 for MD, MS, Diploma, and DNB courses will be eligible.
Candidates who have passed MBBS, BDS courses from the government, private medical and dental colleges of UP are eligible for government state quota seats and private medical college seats. However, those who have completed the course from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, and All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) Raebareli/ Gorakhpur are not eligible for admission under government state quota seats.
Such candidates as well those who have completed MBBS, BDS courses from outside UP will be considered for admission only in private medical and dental colleges.

UP NEET PG counselling fees
Candidates will have to make payment of Rs 3,000 as a one-time registration fee for UP NEET PG round 1, 2, and 3 counselling. Those who are not allotted seats will have to submit a fresh registration form for the stray vacancy round with a non-refundable fee of Rs 2,000.
