NEW DELHI: The Office of the Director General, Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh will close the stray vacancy round registrations of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UP NEET UG) 2023 counselling today.
Those candidates willing to participate in the stray vacancy round of the UP NEET UG counselling 2023 can register through the official website, dgme.up.gov.in or upneet.gov.in.

The last date to pay the registration, and security fee for the UP NEET UG counselling is 11 am tomorrow. Those applying for the MBBS, and BDS programmes will have to pay a security fee of Rs 30,000 for government medical colleges, Rs 2 lakh for private medical colleges, and Rs 1 lakh for private dental colleges.
The authority stated that in case candidates do not take admission after the stray vacancy round, the security money of such candidates will be forfeited and candidates will be prohibited from taking part in the UP NEET UG counselling for the 2024-25 academic session.

The candidates will have to get their documents verified and the merit list for the MBBS, and BDS courses will be published tomorrow following which an online choice-filling process will begin from September 26 to September 28 till 5 pm. The UP NEET UG seat allotment result for the stray vacancies will be announced on September 29.
Those students allotted a seat under the stray vacancy round will be able to download their allotment letter and report to the allotted medical, and dental colleges on September 30, October 1, and 3.
