The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued the admit card for the Combined Medical Services (CMS) examination 2026. Registered candidates can download their UPSC CMS admit card 2026 from the official website, upsconline.nic.in. The recruitment examination will be held on August 2, 2026, at centres across the country to fill 1,358 medical officer posts.

Candidates can download their UPSC CMS 2026 admit card using their login credentials – registered mobile number and one-time password (OTP) or universal registration number (URN) and password or email ID and password.

Candidates appearing for the exam must download and take a printout of the online UPSC CMS admit card 2026, as no paper admit card will be issued. Candidates are advised to keep their UPSC CMS hall ticket 2026 until the declaration of the final result. They have also been advised to carefully read the instructions printed along with the admit card before appearing for the examination.

The steps below will help candidates access the UPSC CMS admit card

  • Visit the official UPSC online portal at upsc.gov.in
  • Click on the UPSC CMS e-admit card link.
  • Log in using the required credentials.
  • Download the CMS admit card and verify all the details.
  • Take a printout and keep it safe for the examination.

After downloading the UPSC CMS admit card, candidates must verify that their name, photograph and QR code printed on the admit card are correct. In case of any discrepancy, they should immediately inform the commission through the email ID mentioned in the official notice.

UPSC CMS 2026 exam day guidelines

Candidates are advised to report to the UPSC CMS exam venue at least one and a half hours before the commencement of the examination to complete face authentication, identity verification and frisking.

The commission has prohibited candidates from carrying mobile phones, smartwatches, electronic gadgets, books, bags and other prohibited items inside the examination premises.

Appearing candidates will only be allowed to carry the printed e-admit card, photo identity proof, a black ballpoint pen, pencil, water in a transparent bottle, passport-size photographs (where applicable) and other items specified in the instructions.
