UPSC ESE Prelims Exam 2024: Candidates can register through the official website, upsc.gov.in.

NEW DELHI: Union Public Service Commission will close the registration window for UPSC ESE Prelims Exam 2024 today, September 26. Candidates can register for Engineering Services Preliminary Examination 2024 through the official website, upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in.
The UPSC ESE Prelims examination is scheduled to be conducted on February 18, 2024 at various exam centres across the country. The commission will release the UPSC ESE admit card the official website three weeks before the commencement of the examination.

The UPSC recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 167 posts in the organization. Interested candidates must be minimum of 21 years and maximum 30 years as on January 1, 2024 to apply for UPSC ESE exam 2024. Apart from this, the candidate must have an engineering degree.
UPSC ESE 2024: How to apply?
Candidates can follow the easy steps given below to apply for UPSC ESE exam 2024.
- Go to the official website - upsc.gov.in
- On the homepage, go to Apply Online section and select One Time Registration for Examinations
- Then register yourself and login
- Fill up the form and pay the fees
- Submit the details and download the form
- Take a print out of the same for future reference
UPSC ESE 2024 Exam will comprise of two papers. Paper 1 will be General Studies and Engineering Aptitude for 200 marks for 2 hours and Paper 2 - Engineering Discipline for 300 marks for a duration of three hours.
Candidates belonging to general or unreserved category have to pay the application fees of Rs 200. While all females, SC, ST, PwBD category candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.
