UPSEE 2018 counselling to start from June 25; to be held in three rounds

New Delhi, June 10 : Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam University (AKTU) has released the counselling schedule of UPSEE 2018. The counselling will start from June 25, 2018 in online mode. Counselling will take place in three rounds for the qualifying candidates. Candidates have to register, upload requisite documents, pay the fee and get their documents verified as per the given schedule. The candidates are then required to choose their colleges, courses and lock their choices. Seat allotment for the first round of counselling will be announced on July 2, 2018. Candidates can choose to take the seat as announced in the result or upgrade in the next round.
Steps of Counselling Procedure
Step 1- Registration, Document uploading & Payment of counselling fee (Rs 12,000 for SC/ ST candidates and Rs 20,000 for others)
Step 2 - Document verification
Step 3 - Filling of choices
Step 4 - Seat allotment result
Step 5 - Seat Confirmation
Step 6 - Physical Reporting at the college (at the end of the third round by all candidates allotted seats)
Counselling Schedule
- Round 1- Registration will start on June 25 and end on June 29. Candidates can verify their documents from June 26 to June 30. They can lock their choices from June 26 to July 1. Result of s eat allotment will be released on 02 July 2018. Students can confirm their seats from July 2 till July 5.
- Round 2- Round 2 will commence from July 6 starting with registrations till July 7. Document verification will be open from July 7 to July 8. Candidates can lock their choices on July7, 8 and 9. Result of seat allotment will come on July 10. Candidates are required to confirm their seats from July 10 to July 12, 2018.
- Round 3- Candidates can register on July 13 and 14, upload documents and pay the fee. Document can be verified on July 14 and 15. Candidates can lock their choices from 14 July to 16 July. Seat allotment result will release on July 17. Candidates can confirm their seats from July 17 to 19.
- Physical reporting- After all the three rounds are completed, all candidates who have been allotted seats, upgraded or otherwise must report to the allotted college with their documents to complete their admission formalities.
