Uttar Pradesh education minister unveils four books on Mahakumbh 2025

Uttar Pradesh: The book launch event was held at Maharaja Bijli Pasi Government College, Aashiana, Lucknow along with several officials, students, teachers, and department heads.
The Uttar Pradesh higher education minister Yogendra Upadhyaya has released four volumes of books related to the national symposium on the Maha Kumbh 2025 held in Prayagraj. The book launch event was at Maharaja Bijli Pasi Government College, Aashiana, Lucknow today, October 4.
The event began with the garlanding of the statue of Goddess Saraswati and the lighting of a lamp.
The minister urged teachers to be aware of their responsibilities and emphasized that they should not limit themselves to classroom teaching, but also instill in students a sense of dedication and duty to the nation.
He further praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's message of adopting Swadeshi , encouraging students to abandon foreign goods and adopt indigenous products.

Furthermore, the college principal Suman Gupta in her welcome address, presented the college’s progress report and stated that the number of students passing the National Eligibility Test (NET) and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) exams at the college is steadily increasing, which is a testament to the education quality.
The programme was conducted by Raghavendra Mishra, and the vote of thanks was given by Sarita Singh. The departmental officers, college teachers, staff, students, along with secretary higher education Amrit Tripathi, special secretary higher education Girijesh Tyagi, and other officials. were present at the event.
