VIT to announce B.Tech rank list today

NEW DELHI: The Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai will announce the rank list for B.Tech programs today (on August 5). The rank list will have names of candidates in the order of merit for admission in B.Tech programs. The rank list has been prepared on the basis of their marks in class 12. Candidates will receive the login credentials on their registered mobile number and email address which shall be used for accessing their result. It shall contain the ranks obtained by candidates for B.Tech 2020 admissions.

It may be noted that the authorities had previously announced for cancelation of the VITEEE entrance examination for B.Tech due to COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, VIT B.Tech result shall be announced on the basis of merit in class 12 in PCM/PCB. Candidates could register in online mode till July 31 wherein they had to enter all the necessary details of the qualifying examination (class 12).
As candidates will know their ranks, this shall be followed by release of VITEEE ranks by the authorities within which B.Tech admissions will be made. Selected candidates will be called up for participating in the counselling process. During this process, candidates will have to go through verification of documents and then pay the requisite admission fee to affirm their seats.
