Download EbookNEW DELHI, MAY 8: Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) will be commencing the counselling process for all qualified candidates of VITEEE 2018 from May 9. For Phase I of counselling, the session will be held from May 9 to 11, 2018. Candidates will have to attend the counselling in person as per their secured ranks on the date and time specified by the university for verification of documents and allotment of seats.

While reporting for the counselling process, the candidates should not forget to carry the required original documents along with two set of photocopies. A demand draft of Rs. 50,000 (towards counselling and processing fee) has to be drawn in favour of ‘Vellore Institute of Technology’ payable at Vellore.

- Counselling admit card
- Result
- 10 th standard board certificate (as proof of age)
- Mark sheet of qualifying exam
- 12 th standard examination hall ticket
- Community Certificate (SC/ST candidates)
- Nativity Certificate (if applicable)
- Aadhaar Card
- Student Profile
- Undertaking Form
What is the Counselling Process?
The counselling process of VITEEE 2018 consists of six steps.
- Reporting/Registration – After reaching the venue, the candidates will have to register and select their preferred campus and course for allotment.
- Verification of Documents – The original and photocopied documents will be verified.
- Allotment of Branch (Counselling Hall) – Candidates will be allotted according to their rank, preferences and availability of seat.
- Photograph/Finger Print/Digital Signature
- Student Profile – The candidates will have to upload documents on their student profile
- Hostel Inquiry
During counselling, allotment of seats will be done based on the All India Rank of VITEEE 2018 secured by the candidates and the preferences made during registration.
VIT will be conducting the counselling in two phases. The second phase will commence from May 14, 2018. Allotment will be done according to the ranking till May 18, 2018 by the authorities. However, VIT Bhopal will be individually holding its phase 2 counselling on May 19 and 20, 2018.
