The VITEEE 2026 result has been announced in the form of a rank card, which decides candidates’ eligibility for the counselling and admission process.
Candidates who qualify in the entrance examination will be called for phase-wise counselling according to their ranks. The detailed counselling schedule and admission-related information will be released shortly. The result has details including their name, gender, application number, VITEEE percentile and overall rank.

VITEEE exam pattern
The engineering entrance exam is conducted annually for admission to Bachelor's of Technology, B Tech programmes offered by various VIT campuses across India, including Vellore, Chennai, AP, Bhopal and Bangalore.VITEEE 2026 was conducted between April 28 and May 3 in two sessions each day. Candidates could check their assigned exam date, test city, and shift details through the OTBS portal.
All the questions were Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), carrying four marks for each correct answer, minus one mark for every incorrect response, and zero marks for unanswered or marked-for-review questions. The paper comprised a total of 125 questions divided into sections — Mathematics/Biology (40 questions), Physics (35 questions), Chemistry (35 questions), Aptitude (10 questions), and English (5 questions). - On homepage, click on ' VITEEE 2026 Results' link
- On redirected page, enter login details including application number and password
- VITEEE 2026 results will open up on screen
- Go through the same and download it

Fake admission agents
Vellore Institute of Technology has cautioned students and parents against fraudulent agents and organisations claiming to offer direct admission through unofficial channels. The institute said any phone calls, emails, WhatsApp messages, or social media posts seeking money or promising admission are fake, and police complaints have already been filed against such individuals. VIT advised candidates not to share personal details or make payments to unauthorised persons. The institute clarified that all admissions are conducted strictly on merit through transparent procedures published only on the official website, vit.ac.in, and warned of strict legal action against those involved in admission fraud.
