NEW DELHI: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has announced the seat allotment result for the Joint Examination for Masters in Computer Applications (JECA) 2024 counselling round 2 today, October 1. Interested candidates who participated in the counselling process can download the WB JECA 2024 seat allotment result through the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in.
Candidates must use their required credentials such as the JECA application number and password to log in and download the JECA 2024 seat allotment letter. Candidates who secured a seat in the round 2 of counselling should accept the seat and pay Rs 5,000 as a seat acceptance fee.
After downloading the WB JECA 2024 allotment letter, the candidate must report to the assigned institute with the allotment letter and all necessary documents for verification. “If the candidate fails to report for document verification, the current allotment will be cancelled and he/she will not be considered for seat allotment in 2nd round,” the official notice read.

Payment of Seat Acceptance Fee
To confirm the allotted seat, candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee within the stipulated deadline. This fee is typically non-refundable and can be paid online through the portal.
Reporting to the Allotted College
Once the fee is paid, candidates must report to the allotted college for document verification and further admission formalities. The reporting process includes:
- Submitting the allotment letter and fee payment receipt.

Presenting original documents like:
- WB JECA rank card.
- Academic certificates (mark sheets, degree certificates).
- Category certificates (if applicable).
- Identification proof (Aadhar, Voter ID).
- Verifying documents at the college.
Freezing or Upgrading the Seat
- Freeze the Seat: If satisfied with the allotted seat, candidates can finalize the admission by freezing their seat.
- Upgrade Option: Candidates who want a better seat in subsequent rounds can opt for an upgrade if the option is available.
