New Delhi, November 5: WB SET admit card 2018 has been released by West Bengal College Service Commission (WBCSC) on November 5. The admit card has been released in online mode for the candidates, whose applications have been accepted by the examination authority. Registered candidates can download their WB SET admit card by entering their user ID and password in the log in window.
After downloading the admit card, candidates must cross-verify if all the information available on it is correct to the best of their knowledge. In case of any discrepancy, candidates are required to carry the admit card with incorrect details to the exam centre and the corrections will be made at the exam centre by the officer-in-charge. However, the corrections will be made only after the verification of attendance sheet and a valid photo ID proof. The list of valid photo ID proofs includes Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport, Pan Card and Driving License. Candidates need to carry one of these photo ID proofs to the test centre.
After taking the examination, candidates have to submit two photocopies of the corrected admit card of WB SET 2018, along with two copies of passport size photographs, personally to the Commission’s office from 12 noon to 3 pm, on or before December 14, 2018. The corrected WB SET admit card has to be self-attested.
The WB SET admit card 2018 carries Candidates’ roll number/User ID, photograph, date of birth, registration number, and name, address, code of the exam centre, date and time of the examination and space for signature.
WB SET is held every year for offering e-certificates to the qualifying candidates, so that they can be recruited as Assistant Professors across the institutes, colleges and universities in West Bengal. This year, the examination will be held on December 2, in offline mode.
