Download NowNEW DELHI, MAY 23: West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board has announced the result of WBJEE 2018 in online mode on May 23. The result of the entrance has been declared before two weeks of the expected date. The result can be downloaded in the form of rank card, which will contain all relevant ranks, total score and component scores in paper-I (Mathematics) and paper-II (physics & Chemistry). The rank card will be downloaded in the PDF format.

Along with the result candidates can even view their ranks from the official website. All candidates who have appeared for the exam will be given rank cards with their scores but may not be called for counselling if they have not qualified.
West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) which is the state engineering entrance exam was conducted on April 22 for admission to many private and government institutions in the state. In order to check the result, candidates will have to log-in into their account by submitting their application number and password. The board has provided two links to check for the result.
Steps to check WBJEE Result:
- Visit the official website and click on ‘WBJEE 2018 Result’ link
- The applicant dashboard will appear. Log-in by using application id and password
- The result will appear on the scree.
- Check all the details mentioned on it and click on the ‘Download’ tab.
- The WBJEE result will be downloaded in the form of rank card, in PDF format.
Note: Don’t forget to take a print out of it as it will be needed in counselling and admission process.
What will it carry?
The rank card will carry mentioned below information, which every candidates must check before downloading it:
- Name of the Candidate and Gender
- Roll number and Rank
- Total scores
- Component scores in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics
- Date of birth
- Category and Domicile
- Application number
What after result?
Candidates who will qualify the entrance exam will be called for counselling and admission process. For the same, candidates need to register and fill their choices of colleges and branches in online mode. Based on the preference submitted by the candidates they will be allotted seats in the colleges of West Bengal. Once the seat allotment is done, candidates will have to download the provisional allotment letter and report to the allotted colleges for document verification and further admission process!
