WCD ministry invites applications for internship from women students, scholars, activists

Internship: Ministry of women and child development will pay interns Rs 20,000 per month as stipend.
NEW DELHI: The ministry of women and child development has invited applications for its two-month internship programme starting from July 3. The application is open to women students, scholars, social activists and teachers from non-tier 1 cities and rural areas of the country. The internship will be from July 7 to August 31. The application process is online and candidates can submit their applications by 11:59 pm on May 29.
Selected candidates will be paid Rs 20,000 per month and given a certificate after completing the internship. Along with this, they will also receive reimbursement for travel costs. Selected candidates will also have the option of staying in a shared hostel during the internship in Delhi wherein basic facilities will be provided and the intern will have to pay for the mess charges.
The aim of the internship is to provide qualitative exposure through short-term work for the interns so that they can understand the functioning of policies and programmes of the Ministry. The interns will be expected to undertake pilot projects and micro-studies that are based on the ongoing activities of the ministry.
Internship eligibility
The eligibility criteria for the internship programme are as follows:

Must be from non-tier 1 cities and rural areas of the country

Should be associated with university or academic or non-academic institutions

Should be aged between 21 and 40 years.

Click on the public notice of internship under the “Whats New” section

Scroll down to download the form titled “Application for scheme of internship with MWCD (To be self attested and attached)”.

Complete this form as per the given instructions.

Scroll up through the notice and click on the given google form link.

Fill in the details in the application form as asked and submit the scanned copy of your form

Click on “submit” to save your details and forms
