16 students from RCA, Jamia Millia Islamia clear UPPSC 2021 examination

16 candidates from RCA centre for coaching and career planning, Jamia Millia Islamia clear their UPPSC 2021 examinations.
NEW DELHI: 16 students from residential coaching academy (RCA), centre for coaching and career planning, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) have cleared the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) 2021 Examination.
In addition to this, two candidates from the RCA have been selected in UPSC CSE 2021 via the reserved lost while one student clears the Odisha Civil Services Examination (OCSE). Last year, RCA, JMI Sanchita Sharma topped UPPSC-2020–PCS examination.
JMI vice-chancellor, Najma Akhtar congratulated the successful candidates and wished that their performance will improve further in the coming years. Under Akhtar, RCA conducted an All India Entrance Test to search civil services aspirants across the country where numerous aspirants was selected for the session.

The RCA, JMI aims to enable an ecosystem in the academy for preparation of civil service exams that will enhace the performance of the students with academic counsellors. The academy primarily focuses on providing mental health counselling during examinations to help them during stressful times.
In recent news, Jamia Millia Islamia launched five short-term online and offline programmes on October 19, 2022 and three part-time self-financed courses that will be open for applications till October 25, 2021. These course were open for professionals, job-seekers and students. In addition, 21 Jamia Millia Islamia researchers featured in world’s top 2% of scientists list prepared by a team of experts led by John Ioannidis, professor at Stanford University and was published by Elsevier BV.
