93% students of NIIT University get jobs through campus placement

The NIIT University said a student got a package of 25.12 lakh per annum, which was the highest in this academic year.
NEW DELHI: NIIT University in a press release said around 93% students of its 2022 batch have got jobs through campus placements. The average package was Rs 11.76 lakh per annum for the top 25% students, while the highest package was Rs 25.12 lakh per annum, it added.
Over 700 companies, including Cisco, Morgan Stanley, PWC and others participated in the campus placement process. Twenty students of BTech (computer science engineering) got jobs in Ernst & Young, the university claimed.

The press release added that students can apply for admission in various courses of the university till October 2023. Candidates can apply for the programmes at the official website, niituniversity.in.
“No matter what the market dynamics, well-skilled and agile employees will always be in demand. Students need to be trained to adapt to the ever-changing world. NU identifies the interests of the students and aligns those with the required skill sets,” it added.

The curriculum at NU aims to prepare students for a future world of work by offering them excellent industry opportunities. Every student undergoes a 6-month industry internship to get more exposure to the real world of work, the university said.
