AIMA opens MAT February 2026 registrations; PBT, CBT on March 1 and 8

Download EBookThe All India Management Association (AIMA) has started the registration process for the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) February 2026 session. As per the schedule, the AIMA MAT 2026 PBT will be held on March 1, and the CBT is scheduled for March 8 across 66 cities in India.

AIMA will close MAT February 2026 registrations for PBT on February 23, while CBT registrations will remain open until March 2. The MAT 2026 admit card for PBT and CBT will be issued on February 26 and March 5, respectively.
Interested candidates can apply for the AIMA MAT February 2026 exam at mat.aima.in. The fee for one test mode (CBT or PBT) is Rs 2,200, whereas those choosing both modes will need to pay Rs 3,800.
Candidates who have completed a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised institute, or those appearing in the final year or awaiting their degree results, are eligible to apply for MAT 2026. There is no age limit to appear for the AIMA MAT exam.
Work experience is not mandatory for the MAT, but it is given additional weightage during the selection process by MBA colleges that accept MAT scores.
AIMA MAT 2026 exam pattern
The MAT exam consists of five sections, with 30 questions in each section, making a total of 150 questions to be attempted within 120 minutes.

As per the MAT marking scheme, one mark will be given for each correct answer, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
As per the MAT 2026 selection process, candidates will have to choose five management institutes while filling out the application form.
Candidates will be shortlisted based on the cut-off scores, after which they will need to appear for further selection rounds, including group discussions (GD) and personal interviews (PI).
