Amazon Web Services announces free 12-week course on cloud computing for unemployed

NEW DELHI: Amazon Web Services (AWS) launched the AWS re/Start in India - a free skills-development and job training programme that prepares learners for cloud computing careers. It is a free 12-week course on cloud computing for those interested to build a career in cloud.
The AWS 12-week program is offered at no cost to learners. Candidates with no previous technology experience can also apply. The programme also aims to prepare unemployed and underemployed individuals for cloud careers through classroom-based training.
Learners will receive job-specific training on building effective front-line support, troubleshooting, escalation, and task automation techniques. AWS re/Start will also provide learners with professional skills including effective communication, collaboration, resume writing, and interview coaching to prepare them for employer meetings and interviews.
AWS Free 12-week Course on Cloud Computing- Who can apply
- Candidates who are available full-time to attend training Monday–Friday for the course duration (typically 12 weeks)
- Ability to start a full-time job after course completion
- Excitement to launch a career in cloud computing
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
AWS re/Start is delivered in 25 countries: Australia, Belgium, Canada, Costa Rica, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Ghana, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Kenya, Lebanon, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Spain, South Africa, Sweden, Tunisia, UK, and US.
