Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Kakinada was to release AP EAMCET results 2020 today, October 9 but it has been postponed to October 10 due to some reasons.

As per media reports, candidates who will qualify AP EAMCET 2020 will be eligible for admission to 143254 engineering seats.

Report on AP EAMCET 2020 admissions to 143254 seats
Out of these total 143254 seats, 138972 seats will be available for admission in Private colleges. For the private seats, the admission to 70 percent seats in convenor quota will be done through AP EAMCET 2020 counselling and 30 percent through management quota. Also, EWS quota seats may be increased to reflect 10 percent and that will be up to 111718 seats.
If we look at the AP EAMCET admissions, seats are left vacant every year and that figure is increasing with each year. In 2019, around 41023 seats were vacant while in 2018, around 32465 seats were vacant. Around 46 institutes which have 25 percent or less students of seat intake have been instructed to close by the authorities.
AP EAMCET 2020 was conducted as a computer-based exam from September 17 to 18 and 21 to 23 for Engineering and September 23 to 25 for Agriculture. AP EAMCET 2020 counselling schedule will be notified soon.
