Bihar SSC Stenographer Exam 2025: The recruitment drive is set to fill a total of 432 vacancies in different government departments across Bihar.
The Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has issued the notification for the stenographer recruitment exam 2025. As per the official schedule, the registration for the BSSC Stenographer 2025 recruitment exam will be conducted from September 25.
Eligible candidates can register for the BSSC Stenographer 2025 exam through the official website at bssc.bihar.gov.in. The registration window will remain open till November 5. The BSSC Stenographer exam 2025 will be conducted to fill 432 vacancies in different government departments across Bihar.
To register for the Bihar SSC Stenographer recruitment exam 2025, candidates will have to pay the application fee of Rs 100. The last date to pay the application fee is November 3. The commission states that if more than 40,000 applications are received, a preliminary exam will be conducted.
BSSC Stenographer 2025: Eligibility criteria
The eligibility criteria for Bihar SSC Stenographer 2025 recruitment exam is given in the table below.
TO be eligible for the exam, candidates' age will be calculated as of August 1, 2025. The minimum age for all categories is 18 years. The maximum age is 37 years for unreserved male candidates, 40 years for OBC and EBC candidates (both male and female) and 40 years for unreserved female candidates.
The date of birth mentioned in the Matriculation or equivalent certificate will be considered valid. Bihar government employees are allowed a maximum of five attempts for competitive exams conducted by the Commission after joining service.
