The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has reiterated that mobile phones are strictly banned in the WB HS board exams 2025. According to the list of prohibited items, students cannot bring mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, wireless headphones, AirPods, smartwatches, or any other electronic gadgets to the exam hall. However, council-approved calculators will be permitted.

For the West Bengal HS Exam 2025, students must secure at least 30% of the total marks to pass. This means students need a minimum of 30 out of 100 in each compulsory subject to qualify in the West Bengal HS result 2025.

The Tamil Nadu board has introduced 26 subjects in the new syllabus, replacing 37 subjects from the old syllabus. Candidates can check the complete list from the table below.

Private students who appeared for the Tamil Nadu 12th public exam under the old pattern but failed or missed non-practical subjects must take the exam as per the new pattern introduced in March 2020. As per the updated marking scheme, scores in non-practical subjects will be calculated using the formula: (marks obtained/90) × 200. For subjects with practical exams, the marks will be converted as (marks obtained/70) × 150.

For the West Bengal HS exam 2025, only the centre-in-charge, centre secretary, venue supervisor, and council nominee are allowed to carry mobile phones within the venue premises strictly for exam-related purposes. However, they are not permitted to use them inside the examination hall. All other teachers, non-teaching staff, and individuals must deposit their mobile phones with the supervisor before entering the exam hall and can collect them only after the exam concludes.

The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) has proposed changes to subject combinations following concerns from universities about the current structure. Currently, Science students take two languages and four core subjects, while Humanities students take three core subjects. The revised structure includes:

• 1st Subject: English (compulsory)
• 2nd Subject: Elective (language or core subject from 25 options, list available on bie.ap.gov.in)
• 3rd, 4th, 5th Subjects: Core subjects from Science or Humanities
• 6th Subject: Optional additional subject. If a student fails one of the first five subjects, the 6th subject can replace it, provided English remains among the main five.

Private students who failed or missed the Tamil Nadu Class 12 public exam under the old pattern must now appear under the revised format introduced in March 2020. As per the marking scheme, marks in non-practical subjects will be scaled to 200 by applying (X/90) × 200, while practical subjects will be converted to 150 using (X/70) × 150.

The CGBSE Class 10 board exam 2025 will begin at 9:15 am and conclude at 12:15 pm. Students must be seated by 9 am. Answer booklets will be distributed at 9:05 am, followed by question papers at 9:10 am for reading.

Students appearing for the AP Inter examination 2025 today must follow the guidelines below to ensure a smooth and fair conduct of the exam:

• Arrive at the examination centre at least 15 minutes early and take a seat after showing the admission card.
• Carry the admit card or hall ticket, as entry will not be permitted without it.
• Students will not be allowed to enter the examination hall 30 minutes after the exam begins.
• Only pens are allowed inside the exam hall; OMR sheets will be provided.
• Carrying books, notebooks, or mobile phones is strictly prohibited. Violations may result in disqualification by the invigilator.
• Follow all exam rules and invigilator instructions. Any misconduct may lead to disqualification.
• Invigilators have the right to conduct personal searches if necessary.
• Students must present their admit card when asked by the invigilator.
• Signing the attendance sheet daily is mandatory.

To prevent unfair practices, the board has implemented multiple security measures, including CCTV surveillance and the use of QR codes and barcodes on question papers and answer sheets. These features will help detect any attempts to film or circulate images and identify those responsible. The West Bengal Class 12 board exam will be conducted from today across 2,089 centres.

• Carrying the AP Inter 2025 hall ticket and school identity card is mandatory for entry into the exam centre.
• Candidates should bring necessary stationery, record books, and lab equipment, as sharing materials is not allowed.
• Arriving at the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time is required.
• Electronic gadgets, including mobile phones, smartwatches, and calculators, are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.
