BPSC 69th CCE final results 2024 declared; category-wise cut-offs, tie-breaking rule
BPSC 69th Result 2024: Out of 1,005 qualified candidates, 972 aspirants appeared in the interview round and 33 were marked absent.

NEW DELHI: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has declared the final results of the 69th Combined Competitive Examination (BPSC 69th CCE) today. The BPSC 69th CCE interview for a total of 1,005 Mains exam qualified-candidates was held from October 15 to 26. Candidates will be able to download the BPSC 69th CCE final results 2024 through the official website, bpsc.bih.nic.in.
A combined merit list for a total of 963 candidates has been prepared based on the sum of the marks obtained in the mains written exam and interview. Out of 1,005 candidates, 972 aspirants appeared in the interview round and 33 were marked absent. The final results have been announced for child development project officer, deputy superintendent of police (technical), finance administrative officer and equivalent.
“The result of main (written) examination of four candidates 133675, 166951, 229026, and 361189 who appeared in the interview and the result of preliminary and main (written) examination of five candidates who roll numbers are 118526, 216045, 223100, 227481 and 229771 have been cancelled,” it said.
BPSC 69th CCE tie-breaking rule
In case two or more candidates obtain the same marks, the following method will be used to resolve the try.
- The candidate who has obtained more marks in the BPSC 69th CCE Main examination.
- The candidate who has obtained more marks in the essay subject,
- If the tie persists, the candidate who is older as per the date of birth has been given preference.
- And if the date of birth is the same, the candidate whose name appears first alphabetically in Devanagari script, has been placed higher in the merit order.
“According to the joint sequential merit list prepared accordingly, giving preference to the order of preference indicated by them for the state cadre/services, according to their suitability for the selected service and the availability of reservation roster wise vacant posts, the 361 candidates have been selected against the total 362 vacancies,” the official statement read.
