British Council India launches Summer Camp 2026 for school students to strengthen English language proficiency

The British Council India has launched its Summer Camp 2026 specialised programme for 6 to 17-year old school students. The programme is designed to provide children with life skills, creativity, and self-expression. The objection is also to transform the traditional summer break into a learning journey through expert-led sessions and interactive pathways.

Students will be given training to increase their English proficiency while building the confidence to navigate real-world situations. The classes will be held face-to-face and live online sessions for students across the country.

The price for face-face sessions in Delhi is Rs 17,490 for one theme, and Rs 33,820 for two themes. Whereas, the online live session will cost Rs 13,992 for one and Rs 27,056 for two themes.

The curriculum of the programme includes two series with 20-hour each. The first session will be held on a discovery series. Students will be given training on increasing curiosity through problem-solving, group discussions, and collaborative tasks. This will also strengthen teamwork, the British Council India said.

The second session will be a confidence series where students will participate in self-expression and public speaking through activities such as debates, presentations, and performance-based tasks.

The British Council India will begin the programmes from April 22 for online learners. The classroom-based learning will be held in Delhi from May to June.
