NEW DELHI : The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has directed all schools to make ‘timely submission’ of List of Candidates (LOC) for Classes 10 and 12 and to complete registration of students for Classes 9 and 11 on time for the academic session 2022-23. The Board has said that there will be no extension in the last date for registration and LOC data submission to ensure that preparations are made foolproof for 10th, 12th board exams 2023. The last date for registration for Classes 9 and 11 is September 30 and for submission of LOC for Classes 10 and 12 is August 31.
“All the schools are, therefore, directed to complete their registration and submission of the list of candidates without waiting for the last date. It would be the responsibility of the head of the institution to ensure that deadlines are met without fail. No request for an extension of the last date will be accepted on any account,” CBSE’s latest notification read.

Schools will have to submit LOC through the e-pariksha link given on the CBSE official website - cbse.gov.in. Schools can submit the list of candidates in online mode only. CBSE will not consider offline submission. There will be no correction window for editing the data that has already been uploaded, the board said. Schools should register themselves before submitting the online data by using the affiliation number available to them as their registration number.
“Only those students will be allowed to appear for Class 10 and 12 board examinations in session 2022-23, whose names would be submitted through the online process of submission of LOC,” the board earlier stated.
