Check NowNEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is conducting CBSE Class 10 term 1 exam from today, November 17, 2021. The CBSE term 1 exam for Class 10 minor subjects will end on December 7, 2021. The major exams will be held from November 30 to December 11, 2021.

CBSE has released a set of important guidelines for term 1 exam on the official website, cbse.gov.in. Students appearing for the board exams must follow the guidelines given by CBSE for term 1 exam for Class 10 and 12. Check the general guidelines below.

The CBSE term 1 board exam 2021 is held in MCQ format. Students will be given OMR sheets to encircle the correct one.

They must use a blue or black ball-point pen to mark their response in the OMR sheet for answering the questions.

CBSE term 1 exam for Class 12 will be held for 114 subjects and 75 subjects in Class 10. The practical exams will be conducted by December 23, 2021.

CBSE term 1 minor exams will begin at 11:30 am and 20 minutes of reading time will be given to the students instead of the previous 15 minutes.

Students should carry their CBSE 10th admit card to the examination hall. Without it, they will not be allowed to sit for the exam.

COVID-19 safety protocols such as wearing masks, use of sanitisers and maintaining social distancing during the exam is mandatory for all.

They must report to the exam venue 1 hour prior to the commencement to avoid last minute hassle.

CBSE has informed schools situated abroad to allow only 24 students in a single room and two centre superintendents will be deputed in one room.

Use of advanced data analytics, CCTV, external observers/flying squads have been appointed to detect unfair means during examinations at centres.

CBSE has extended assistance for exam centre superintendents for holding smooth, fair and successful CBSE term 1 exams for Class 10 and 12.
