The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will close the Class 12 re-evaluation application window today, June 6. Students who wish to challenge the evaluation of their scanned copies of their answer books can submit applications through the board's post-result services portal at cbse.gov.in/newsite_old/rchk.html.
The re-evaluation option is only available for students who have already received scanned copies of their evaluated answer sheets. CBSE opened the Class 12 re-evaluation portal earlier this week after a short delay due to technical updates and security checks.
To apply for the CBSE Class 12 re-evaluation, students will have to pay a fee of Rs 100 for each question. They are advised to carefully check the marking scheme before applying, as requests can be made only for selected questions.

According to the board, students can apply for CBSE Class 12 re-evaluation of specific answers after checking their responses against the official marking scheme and finding any mistakes in the evaluation.
Students can follow these steps to submit their applications.
Meanwhile, CBSE said it has received more than 70,000 applications under its post-result grievance process, including requests for Class 12 re-evaluation and other review services. The board also said its portal stayed active even though there were attempts at cyberattacks during the application period.
The CBSE Class 12 results 2026 were announced on May 13. Students who are not happy with their marks and have already seen their evaluated answer sheets can apply for re-evaluation.
