Apply NowNEW DELHI: CBSE launches an online portal named DADS (Duplicate Academic Document System). This portal will help students to obtain duplicate copies of their lost documents. CBSE developed the portal after getting requests from students for duplicate copies of their academic documents either because they are lost or are mutilated.
The official notification reads, “The facility will obviate the human contact and physical presence of the students required so far and cut short the travel, time and energy spent by students and parents who can now obtain duplicate marksheets, passing certificate, migration certificate through this online portal.”
How will DADS help students?
To access the portal, students will have to log on to the board's website, cbse.nic.in and apply on the link: https://cbseit.in/cbse/web/dads/home.aspx for the procedure and options.
This portal will give an option to students for both digital copy and printed copy of the academic document to choose from.
As per the official statement, “Regional Offices, on receipt of the applications, will print academic documents and dispatch them through speed post. A tracking system will enable the students to trace the status of the application and the dispatched details.”
Till now, these students invariably approached the concerned regional offices in person, which will now be a relief for them. Meanwhile, CBSE has released 12th evaluation criteria and expected to declare the CBSE board exams 2021 result by July 31.
