CBSE Paper Leak: Delhi Police starts probe; HRD Minister promises strict action

NEW DELHI, MARCH 29: The Union Ministry of Human Resource Development has registered a police complaint in the alleged Central Board of Secondary Education ( CBSE ) paper leak and Delhi Police has started its investigation in the case.

The Minister of HRD), Prakash Javadekar has warn ed of strict action against those involved in the leak case and said that s ome parts of the paper were leaked on WhatsApp and we have made police complaint regarding it. Investigation is underway and strict action will be taken against those involved in the alleged paper leak.

He also ensured that t he security will be tighten for the time when papers are being distributed in the remaining exams.

The HRD Minister has also ensured that no injustice will be caused to students. The Ministr y is in the process of setting of a National Testing Agency (NTA) which will conduct the Class 10 and 12 exams from next year.

"CBSE is going to make all the announcements regarding the matter. With the help of technology we will device a system which will make paper leak impossible in the future,” Prakash Javadekar said during a press conference .

Meanwhile, Delhi Police has registered a case on alleged leak of Class 12 Economics paper following complaint by CBSE. The Joint Commissioner of Police-Crime and Special Commissioner of Police-Crime meet with the Delhi Commissioner of Police over CBSE Class 10 and 12 paper leak issue.
