CBSE Team Active on X
Platform X is still filled with students sharing issues related to the portal, but the change is that the board is now responding to nearly every post. One student posted, "We are still not able to log in to the CBSE verification portal. Error message: 'Failed, login request expired.' Please help." To this, the board replied, "Please DM us a brief description of your issue. The CBSE team will assist you."
Another student posted, "Verification has been failing since morning. Kindly confirm whether the portal is down or if users are expected to keep retrying endlessly. An official update is awaited." In response, the board asked the student to share the exact error message being displayed on the screen via DM and assured him that the team would assist him.
To many students complaining about verification failures, the board replied, "If verification has failed, kindly verify that the Aadhaar details entered and login credentials are correct and according to the details given. Also, ensure that the password and Admit Card ID are the same. However, if even after entering the correct details there are issues, please share your Roll Number, Application ID, and Admit Card ID so that we can share them with the concerned CBSE department. The CBSE team will assist you. Thank you for your patience."

Cyberattack Attempts
The portal for applying for verification and re-evaluation of CBSE Class 12 board examination results went live on June 2. At the time of launch, CBSE introduced Aadhaar-based verification as an additional security measure. The board clarified that students who do not possess an Aadhaar card can use the Aadhaar details of a parent, guardian or relative. In such cases, the Aadhaar name, date of birth and gender entered must match the details of the person whose Aadhaar number is being used.
CBSE's cybersecurity team, on the afternoon of June 2, said that the portal witnessed significant traffic shortly after opening. By 3 pm, the system was supporting more than 8,000 concurrent users, while over 16,000 students had successfully submitted their applications.

The board also revealed that the platform came under cyberattack attempts during the day. Officials said malicious actors tried to disrupt services through a denial-of-service (DoS) attack that generated nearly 1.5 million hits within just two minutes. Along with this, over one lakh attempts of unauthorised file access were detected and blocked by security systems.
Amid these challenges, CBSE said that its technical teams remained vigilant and ensured that services continued without major disruption. The board noted that the portal infrastructure had been further refined to improve convenience for students, including extending session time limits to reduce the chances of application interruptions.
Students seeking verification of marks, obtaining photocopies of evaluated answer books, or applying for re-evaluation can complete the process through the official CBSE portal within the prescribed timelines.
