Attempt NowNEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to declare CBSE Class 10, 12 board results 2024 in the first week of May, as per past trends. Recently, the board clarified that the CBSE result date 2024 circular circulating on the social media platforms is fake. Students who appeared in the CBSE Board exams will be informed about the CBSE Class 10 and CBSE Class 12 board result date 2024 through the official website, cbse.gov.in.

The board conducts CBSE Board exams 2024 from February 15 to March 13 for Class 10, and Class 12 board exams concluded on April 2. Around 39 lakh students appeared in the board exam this year, as per reports.
The fake CBSE Class 10 result date notification read: “The CBSE Class 10 results will be officially declared on the 1st of May 2024 between 1PM & 3PM.” However, later the board issued clarification stating it has not announced the result date yet.
Students should note that the board will issue the provisional mark sheet through the online platforms and the original copy will be distributed to the students by their respective schools.
CBSE Result Portal: Official websites to check
Students will have to enter their CBSE Class 10 or 12 roll number, school number, date of birth, and admit card ID to access and download the mark sheet. The CBSE Class 10 results and CBSE Class 12 results will be hosted on the following official websites and apps.

- Call or Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS)
- Digilocker.
CBSE Class 12 result date trends
Students who obtain at least 33% marks in all subjects including practical, internal assessment will be declared pass. Last year, 16,60,511 students sat for CBSE Class 12 board exam and recorded an overall pass percentage of 87.33%. Of which, 84.67% boys and 90.68% girls were declared qualified. Students can check CBSE Class 12 result date of the past 9 years.
