CBSE student receives blank marksheet
Notably, CBSE is facing fresh scrutiny after a Class 12 student based in Saudi Arabia allegedly received a blank marksheet after the declaration of the Class 12 results.
The matter has now landed in the Supreme Court after advocate and social activist Vineet Jindal filed a petition on behalf of the student. Jindal states that the student took the CBSE Class 12 exams from Saudi Arabia but received a marksheet that showed no individual subject marks. SC will hear the matter on June 8.
While sharing the information on social media, Jindal mentioned that the student's father contacted him after finding out that many students in the area had either not received their results at all or had errors in their marksheets. He has filed multiple representations and legal petitions on behalf of the students.
CBSE has also set the deadline for Class 12 re-evaluation and verification to June 7 after students raised concerns of technical issues on the revaluation portal.
