Candidates who appeared for the CLAT 2026 exam, held on December 7, will be able to access the results through the official website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
Around 75,009 candidates appeared for the Undergraduate (UG) programmes and 17,335 appeared for the Post Graduate (PG) courses in CLAT 2026.
The CNLUs has not officially announced the result date for CLAT 2026 . However, as per previous years trends, and several media reports, the CLAT 2026 results will be declared tentatively between December 15 and 17. The law result will carry details regarding the name of the candidate, parent’s name, roll number and application number, marks obtained in CLAT 2026, overall rank and category rank.
After the CLAT 2026 results are declared, the consortium will start the counselling process. Qualified candidates will have to register for CLAT counselling 2026 and take admission into various UG and PG programmes offered by different CLAT participating NLUs and colleges.

How many seats are in CLAT 2026?
The CLAT UG programme has 3,705 seats and the CLAT PG programme offers 1,436 seats. In addition, 247 UG and 69 PG seats are earmarked for NRI and foreign nationals, along with 140 UG and 94 PG supernumerary seats. This takes the total seat count to 4,092 for UG programmes and 1,599 for PG programmes.
