CMAT 2022: Preparation tips to score well in the exam
With only around a week left to go for the exam, candidates need to be very wise in their studies. They should study strategically, so they do their best in the exam. It is time to analyze how much you need to do revision, what to revise, and what are the possible topics from which questions are to be asked.
However, you are quite confident in your preparation, doing a few things will certainly help you a lot. Here are some simple but pretty effective tips to follow before CMAT 2022, and they will remarkably take your preparation level to the next level.
Do a rational revision
As just a week is left, it is not advisable to study new topics. Instead, take your time to revise the topics you have studied. This helps you have a solid grasp on those topics, and thus if questions are asked about these topics you will write the answer far better.
Study selectively
It is good to practice. But it is not wise to spend too much time revising the topics you have already solid grass over and that you can do best without any revision. So take your time and analyze what topics you need to revise most and what not. This will help you in maximizing your score in CMAT 2022.
Do CMAT mock test
Do a mock test on all sections before the actual exam. Though this is not a sort of revision, this will make you familiar with things like how to choose answers, do important entries, how change your chosen answer, and so on. As time is the most crucial factor in cracking CMAT 2022, doing a full-fledged mock test not just helps with time management but also instills in you the confidence that is important for a candidate during the exam.
Look at previous CMAT question papers
Go through previous years' questions asked in CMAT to know the trends of questions. There are five sections comprising 20 questions, each question bears equal marks. When you go through past question papers, see the topics that most no questions are asked. So you can prepare accordingly. However, there are some fixed topics that are asked in every CMAT exam such as RC in the language section. But keep in the latest syllabus for CMAT2022.
Practice tricks and shortcuts
Time is a crucial factor that will decide your fate in the exam. So just knowing the answer is not enough. You should know how to solve the problems in less time so you can answer more questions. It, therefore, is a good idea to practice tricks and shortcuts so you can solve a problem in the shortest possible time.
Learn time management
Like other competitions, CMAT is also a race wherein all candidates are vying to secure a place in one of the prestigious institutions that accept CMAT scores. How you manage the time in the exam hall will decide your probability of passing the exam. So you must be good at time management to ensure your success in the exam.
