CTET 2024 Exam Analysis: Paper easy to moderate; factual questions in EVS section

CTET 2024 Exam Analysis: Maths section was of moderate level and majority of the questions were asked from algebra and pedagogy.

Check NowNEW DELHI: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the CTET exam 2024 exam today, January 21. CTET 2024 paper 1 was held from 2 pm to 4:30 pm and paper 2 was conducted from 9.30 am to 12 noon. According to the students who appeared for CTET 2024, the difficulty level of both paper 1 and 2 were easy to moderate.

The duration of both CTET 2024 paper 1 and 2 were 2 hours 30 minutes. CTET 2024 paper 1 and paper2 consisted of 150 multiple-choice questions each and carried a total 150 marks. There was no major change in the exam pattern and students didn't get any out of the box questions as such.
CTET 2024 Exam Analysis: Paper 1
The overall difficulty level of the CTET 2024 paper 1 was easy to moderate. Students who appeared for CTET paper 1 found the paper bit lengthy. In the Child Development and Pedagogy sections questions were asked from the process of socialization, progressive education, learning from real-life problem, inclusive classroom, kohlberg, constructive learning theory, learning disorders. The Environmental studies (EVS) section consisted of factual questions and was a little difficult as compared to other sections. According to students, EVS question were somewhat similar to previous papers.

CTET 2024 Exam Analysis: Paper 2
The overall difficulty level of the CTET 2024 paper 2 was easy to moderate. Students did not find the CTET paper 2 lengthy. The maths section was of moderate level and majority of the questions were asked from algebra and pedagogy. In the science section question were asked from Deficiency diseases, micronutrients, Acid rain, electroscope and others. In language paper, students who appeared for Sanskrit found the paper easy.
