Check NowNEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will close the registration window of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET January 2024) on the official website, ctet.nic.in.

The board will conduct the 18th edition of the CTET in 20 languages in 135 cities on January 21, 2024. The CBSE will hold two papers – Paper 1 for teaching posts in Classes 1 to 5 and Paper 2 for Classes 6 to 8. Candidates applying for any of the papers will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1,000 and Rs 1,200 for both the papers. However, candidates belonging from SC, ST and PwD categories will be to pay a registration fee of Rs 500 and 600 for applying for one paper and both papers, respectively.
