NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET 2023) tomorrow, August 20. Over 14 lakh candidates applied for the CTET exam in the last session for the teacher eligibility exam.

Aspirants will have to mandatorily carry the CTET July 2023 admit card to the exam centre for verification purposes. The computer-based test (CBT) will be held in two shifts. The morning shift will begin from 9.30 AM to 12 noon and the afternoon shift from 2.30 PM to 5 PM. Candidates will get two and a half hours to complete the exam. CTET admit card 2023 can be downloaded from the official website, ctet.nic.in.

As per the exam pattern, CTET paper 1 is held for applicants who wish to teach classes 1 to 5 and paper 2 is for those who wish to teach elementary class, classes 6 to 8.

CTET July 2023 exam pattern

The questions for both paper 1 and paper 2 will be based on the NCERT textbooks and syllabus but the difficulty level will be of secondary and senior secondary stage respectively.

CTET 2023 qualifying marks

Candidates who secure the minimum pass percentage marks will be declared qualified for awarding the eligibility certificate for teacher appointment.
