CUET UG 2022, MHT CET exam dates clash: Students claim no response from NTA

NEW DELHI: Soon after the State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, issued the MHT CET admit card 2022 for physics, chemistry, and mathematics (PCM), several students have raised concerns about clash with Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2022) exam dates.

MHT CET 2022 admit card was issued on July 27 on the official website, mhtcet2022.mahacet.org. As per the schedule, the MHT CET 2022 PCM exams will be held from August 5 to 11, 2022. While the CUET UG 2022 exams are scheduled to begin from August 4.

Several students have taken to social media to request for change in exam dates, exam city. However, many claimed that there was no response from the National Testing Agency (NTA) and that the CUET helpline numbers weren’t working.

The NTA had earlier announced that it has created a unique CUET 2022 date sheet for each candidate considering the huge number of subject combinations. The UGC chairman M Jagadesh Kumar had said 98 percent of the candidates will get the first choice of the city. And advised to contact the NTA helpline (011-40759000) or send an email at cuetug@nta.ac.in if the candidates faced any difficulty.

Moreover, some candidates complained that their CUET exam dates are clashing with counselling, interviews for other exams and urged NTA to change their dates.

A candidate said, “Sir, my CUET exam is clashing with MHT CET exam on 10 August due to which I have also changed my current city. If possible kindly please change my centre city and date of cuet. And take after 10 August. Will be grateful to you.”

Tagging Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan, a parent wrote on Twitter, “My son's CUET and MHT CET exam dates are clashing,we sent you hundreds of mail but except the auto generated mail,so response from your side,why ? Ur CUET helpline number is also not working,my son is under huge stress.who is responsible.”

A candidate tagged NTA and tweeted, "Sir ,With due respect I would like to bring your kind attention towards the clash of my CUET exam (18 Aug) and AFAB interview date (15-19Aug). Therefore, i request you to please assign a good date for CUET exam."

"CUET exams are going to take place from 6-20th august, my sitting on 10th, Aug is clashing with NFSU counseling( Under MOH). I request NTA please make changes in my CUET date for even 1-2 days so that I can attend former and appear for latter," said a student.
