Delhi nursery, KG, Class 1 admission 2023 registration in private schools begins tomorrow

Nursery Admission: The DoE has instructed the schools to upload details of all entry level classes along with seats available for admission by December 16.
NEW DELHI: The Directorate of Education (DoE) will begin the Delhi nursery admission 2023 registration for private schools in the national capital from tomorrow, December 1. The first list of selected children for the entry level classes in over 1,800 private schools will be displayed on January 20, 2023.
"The admission process for pre-school, pre-primary and class 1 will commence from December 1 for open seats in private unaided recognised schools of Delhi for the session 2023-24," the DoE said in a notification.
The DoE has instructed the schools to submit the details of all entry level classes, nursery, KG, Class 1, along with seats available for admission by December 16. It had asked all private unaided recognised schools to upload their criteria for admission by November 28, 2022.
Those interested in applying for the Delhi Class 1 admission 2023 in private schools will have to make a non-refundable payment amount of Rs 25.

Delhi Nursery Admission 2023: Age limit
The DoE has also directed that the number of seats at the entry level will not be less than the highest number of seats in entry level classes during the last three academic years -- 2020-21, 2021-22 and 2022-23.
The directorate has fixed the age limit for Delhi nursery and Class 1 admission 2023 as follows.

Age relaxation for Delhi Class 1 admission up to 30 days may be granted at the level of head of schools in the minimum and upper age limit for these classes. Parents will have to request the principal of the schools for age relaxation, the notification read.
