Delhi University announces DU UG, PG, BTech admission 2023 last dates

NEW DELHI: Delhi University (DU) will close the admission for the DU BTech admission on October 14. The DU will close the DU UG admission 2023 and DU PG admission 2023 on September 30 and October 14, respectively.
DU offers a total of 120 seats each in BTech (Computer Science and Engineering), BTECH (Electronics and Communication Engineering) and BTech (Electrical Engineering). Candidates Students who have cleared the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2023 are eligible for BTech programmes of faculty of technology, DU. The university will consider the All India Common Rank List (CRL) of the JEE (Mains) 2023 for the BTech admission process.

Candidates can register for the DU BTech admission on the CSAS portal, engineering.uod.ac.in. Candidates from the unreserved, other backward classes - non creamy layer (OBC-NCL), and economically weaker sections (EWS) categories will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 1,500. Students of scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), and persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD) will have to pay Rs 1,200 as the non-refundable registration fee. Candidates who have already registered will not have to apply again.
DU UG 2023 special spot round result
The DU will declare the final seat allotment result of the special spot round 2023 today at 5 PM. Candidates who registered for the DU UG admission special round will be able to view the result of the official website, admission.uod.ac.in.
Interestingly, more than 5,000 seats are lying vacant in more than 60 DU colleges even after four rounds of DU UG counselling 2023. A total of 1,557 seats are in the unreserved category, 1,310 seats in the OBC category, 1,919 seats in SC and ST categories, and 967 seats under EWS category.

DU BTech Admission: How to register
- Visit the Delhi University CSAS portal, engineering.uod.ac.in.
- Click on the register for Undergraduate admission button.
- Enter basic information such as name, email address to generate password.
- Select the special spot round admission from the dashboard.
- Enter courses and colleges in the order of preference.
- Review the application and submit.
