NEW DELHI: The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) will likely declare the Tamil Nadu Class 12 result 2025 on May 9, as per reports. Students will be able to download the TN HSC Class 12 result 2025 on the official website, dge.tn.gov.in or tnresults.nic.in.

As per The Indian Express reports, the TN HSE +2 result date is May 9 and will be declared at 9 am. However, the details of the result date are yet to be confirmed by the DGE officials.
Students will be able to download their TN Class 12 results 2025 using their registration number and date of birth details. Students who do not qualify for the TN 12th exam 2025 can appear for the supplementary exam, which will be held tentatively in June and July 2025.
TN Class 12 board exams 2025 were held from March 3 to March 25. The practical exams were conducted between February 7 to 14.
Students have to attain a minimum passing mark to qualify for the TN Class 12th HSC exam 2025. The minimum marks for both the Class 12 theory exam and the practical exam are as follows.

Subjects with practical Theory: 70 marks Practical: 20 marks Internal: 10 marks | 15 marks out of 70 marks in theory and 35 marks in total. No minimum passing marks are prescribed for practicals, but the candidate should be present for the practical exam. |
For languages and subjects that do not have practical exams | Candidate should secure a minimum of 25 marks out of 90. |
For vocational subjects consisting of practicals only | Candidates should secure a minimum of 20 marks out of 75. |
Last year, a total of 7,60,606 students appeared for the exam, out of which 3,52,165 were boys and 4,08,440 were girls. As per statistics, 7,19,196 students qualified for the exam, out of which 3,25,305 were boys and 3,93,890 were girls, marking the overall pass percentage to 94.56%.
