DU Admission 2022: Over 9,000 candidates upgrade to college, course of choice

Download NowNEW DELHI: A total of 15,236 candidates secured Delhi University (DU) admission 2022 from the second merit list. Out of which, 9,439 candidates got their course and college upgraded. The Delhi University closed the window to pay the admission fee against the DU second merit list 2022 today.

As of November 2, 2022 a total of 16,661 admission in Delhi University were under process. Out of these candidates, 8,022 have upgraded their course and college. The university also had 3,784 fresh admissions yesterday. The candidates that were selected in the DU second merit list had to pay the admission fee via online mode by 4:59 PM today.

The list of vacant seats after DU second seat allotment will be published on November 4, 2022. DU will open its mid-entry window and the option to re-order higher preferences from November 5 to 7, 2022. The third DU merit list will be released on November 10.
DU commenced a new semester for its first-years admitted through Common University Entrance Test (CUET) yesterday, November 2. In the DU's first round of seat allocation, a total of 59,100 candidates secured their admissions while 15,398 candidates have confirmed their seats.
The DU first merit list 2022 was published on October 19, 2022. Among the candidates who took admission in the first seat allotment, nearly 60 percent of them have opted for an upgrade to their higher 'programme+college combination' preference.
