DU Admission: St Stephen's College assigns 85% weightage to CUET, 15% to interview

CUET 2022: According to St Stephen's College, as a minority institution, it reserves the right to proceed with admissions as per its own admission policy.
NEW DELHI: St Stephen's College, affiliated with the Delhi University will provide admissions based on 85 percent of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores and 15 percent of the interview marks for all categories of applicants. According to St Stephen's College, as a minority institution, it reserves the right to proceed with admissions as per its own admission policy.
St Stephen's College admission procedure
DU St Stephen's College admissions to undergraduate programmes will be following the below-given steps:
- Candidates who are interested to apply for undergraduate courses at St Stephen's College are required to apply on the college's UG admission portal which will be updated soon.
- For applying to St Stephen's College, candidates should have also registered for CUET at cuet.samarth.ac.in.
- Shortlisting of candidates will be bades on the CUET score. Select candidates will be called for interview.
- The final list of the selected candidates will be updated on the college's website.

St Stephen's College provides 50 percent seats for general candidates. The rest of the seats are reserved for Christian students. According to Delhi University vice-chancellor Yogesh Singh, the DU college is supposed to take only CUET scores for admissions to general seats. College can conduct interviews and assign 85 percent weightage to CUET and the rest to interviews.
