DU UG Admission 2023: Over 1.4 lakh registrations done so far; 74,312 candidates submit applications

DU UG Admission: Out of the total 1,47,317 registrations, as many as 74,312 candidates have submitted their DU applications on the CSAS portal so far.

Download NowNEW DELHI: The University of Delhi (DU) has received a total of 1,47,317 registrations so far. As per data shared by the university, out of the total 1.4 lakh applications, as many as 74,312 candidates have submitted their DU applications, while 73,005 candidates have not. DU is accepting applications for admission to its UG programmes through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS).

Around 71,000 seats will be filled in the Delhi University UG programmes. DU has on offer 78 UG programmes and 198 BA programme combinations and will admit candidates through its 68 colleges.
Admission to all the UG programmes in DU is held through the CSAS portal and will be based on the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate 2023 (CUET UG 2023).

The CSAS UG 2023 registration process includes applying to the university, filling the preferences for programmes and colleges and allocation cum admisison of seats.
There is a one-time CSAS UG 2023 application fee which is non-refundable. For candidates belonging to the UR, OBC-NCL and EWS categories, Rs 250 will have to be paid, while it is Rs 10 for candidates of SC, ST and PwBD.
Although the admissions to all UG programmes at DU will be on the basis of the CUET UG scores, admission criteria to the School of Open Learning (SOL), Non- Collegiate Women Education Board (NCWEB) and foreign nationals are different.
