NEW DELHI: In a first, all 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) have gathered at IInvenTiv 2022 to showcase major projects on resource and development (R&D). Education minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that many developing and developed nations are approaching the Indian government for setting up IIT campuses in their countries.
At the inaugural ceremony of IInvenTiv 2022, the education minister said: "India's experiment with the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) is earning global recognition."

According to the schedule for day-1, there will be two 90-minute sessions and six parallel session consisting of six to seven projects. The event will be exhibiting a total of 75 projects by 23 IITs to commemorate India's 75 years of Independence. A panel discussion on "India's Techade: Unleashing Govt, industry, academia partnership".
Day-2 will see one-on-one sessions between faculty members and industry representatives. The stalls set up by the IITs will continue to exhibit their projects to all college faculty and students on the second day.
IIT Kanpur will be exhibiting the highest number of research and development projects at the showcase. IInvenTiv will cover 10 major domains in their exhibits, the themes are flexible electronics and nanotechnology, robotic sensors and actuators and semiconductors, communication technologies, AL, ML and blockchain technologies, healthcare, defense and aerospace, manufacturing, smart cities and infrastructure, clean energy and renewables and environment and sustainability.
