Police said the doctor, identified as Ashutosh Chandra, was found dead at his Muzaffarpur home. A licensed gun was recovered; post-mortem and forensic examination are underway, with no suicide note recovered.
JAM 2026: Candidates can apply for the MS and MSc entrance exam on the official website, joaps.iitb.ac.in, by October 12. The exam is scheduled on February 15, in forenoon and afternoon sessions.

Assam NEET UG 2025: As per the official notification, 250 seats at Guwahati Medical College and Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh each, 50 at Pragjyotishpur Medical College, and 150 at Silchar Medical College have been added for the round 2 counselling.
Notably, students who will be allotted seats in the JEECUP special counselling round 7, will be required to deposit security and counselling fee between September 10 and 12.
