FMGE score cards can be viewed by candidates using their registered user ID and password. The score cards will be available on the website for six months. Qualified candidates will be issued Pass Certificates only after a physical document and identity verification, which will be conducted within four weeks of the declaration of results.
The FMGE exam result is used to determine the candidates who will be allowed to practise medicine in India after completing their medical degrees from a foreign university. Only Indian citizens, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), and Nepalese nationals are eligible to appear for the FMGE exam. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) conducts the FMGE twice a year - in June and December.
