NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has issued the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 admit card today, January 7. Registered candidates will be able to access and download the GATE admit card 2025 by visiting the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The IIT Roorkee will conduct the GATE 2025 exam on February 1, 2, 15, and 16.
The GATE exam 2025 will be held in two shifts each day. As per the GATE 2025 exam timings, forenoon session will be held from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm (IST) and afternoon shift from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. GATE previous year question papers are available on the official website. The GATE 2025 result date is March 19. The GATE 2025 scorecards will be available for downloading from March 28 to May 31.
GATE 2025 Admit Card 2025: Details mentioned
Candidates will be required to enter their enrollment ID and password to download the GATE admit card 2025. The GATE admit card 2025 will mention details such as candidate's name, photograph, enrollment ID, roll number, signature, GATE 2025 paper code, GATE exam center and code, GATE exam date 2025, GATE 2025 exam timing, exam day guidelines.
GATE Admit Card 2025: Exam pattern
The GATE 2025 exam will be conducted in an online mode. There are a total of 30 papers in GATE 2025. Candidates are allowed to choose 2 papers. The duration of the GATE 2025 exam is 3 hours. The GATE exam 2025 will have three types of questions- Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions. There will be no negative marking for wrong answer in MSQ and NAT. However, for 1-mark MCQ, 1/3 mark will be deducted for wrong answer. In case of 2-mark MCQ, 2/3 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.
