GATE 2025 February 1 Live: Overall difficulty level 'moderate'; paper analysis, memory-based questions

GATE answer key 2025 will be issued once the exam ends. Candidates will be able to calculate their probable scores in GATE exam 2025 using the provisional GATE 2025 answer key. According to GATE 2025 marking scheme, candidates will be awarded one or two marks for each question. For a wrong answer chosen in an MCQ, there will be negative marking as follows:

• For a 1-mark MCQ, 1/3 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer.
• For a 2-mark MCQ, 2/3 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer.

There is no negative marking for wrong answer(s) to MSQ or NAT questions. There is no partial marking in MSQ.

The GATE 2025 exam will comprise of two sections. One section will be on General Aptitude (GA) and other on the subject selected by the candidate.
