Check NowNEW DELHI : The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 has extended its registration date till October 3, 11:59 pm. Candidates will be able to apply for GATE 2025 at its official website, goaps.iitr.ac.in. The dates have been extended due to several requests from the applicants, an official GATE 2025 statement added.

The GATE 2025 exam will be conducted on February 1, 2, 15, and 16 at test centres across the country. The exam will be held in two shifts on all days. All SC, ST, PwD, and female candidates have to pay ₹1,400, while Rs 2,300 for other category students.
Who can fill GATE application form 2025?
Candidates who satisfy the GATE 2025 eligibility criteria will be able to fill out the GATE application form online. The eligibility criteria of GATE include details such as age limit and minimum educational qualifications. Candidates will have to check the stream-wise GATE eligibility criteria online on its official website. However, the basic GATE eligibility criteria are as follows.

Candidates currently studying in the 3rd or higher years of any undergraduate degree programme or who have completed any government-approved degree program in any relevant field are eligible to appear for GATE 2025.

Scanned copy of Category (SC,ST) certificate in pdf format (if applicable).

Scanned copy of PwD Certificate in pdf format (if applicable).

Scanned copy of Class 10, 12 marksheets and certificates.

Scanned copy of Certificate of Dyslexia in pdf format (if applicable).

Scanned copy of valid photo Identity document- Aadhar-UID (preferable), Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID

The photo ID are required to have name, date of birth of the candidate and unique photo ID number. This photo ID must be carried in original to the examination hall for verification.
