GSEB 12th results 2024 out; 91.93% pass in general stream; result improves by 18.66 points

Download NowNEW DELHI: Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has declared the GSEB HSC or Class 12 results 2024 for general, science, vocational and other streams at gseb.org. As per the GSEB 12th result 2024, 82.45% students passed in science stream and 91.93% cleared the exam in general stream. The state board conducted the Gujarat Board annual board exam 2024 from March 11 to March 26. According to the GSEB std 12 results, 3,79,759 regular students registered for the exam, of which 3,78,268 appeared and 3,47,738 passed. The overall pass percentage stood at 91.93%.
Under the general category, 61,182 repeaters registered for the Gujarat Board exam 2024. However, only 59,137 appeared in the exam, of which 29,179 candidates were successful, recording a pass percentage of 49.34%.
In the science stream, 1,11,414 students registered for the Class 12 exam, out of which 1,11,132 appeared and a total of 91,625 were declared pass. The overall pass percentage of GSEB science stream is 82.45%. In this stream, 19,518 repeaters appeared in the exam and recorded a pass percentage of 32.95%.
As per the GSEB results, 127 schools have obtained a perfect 100% results and 1,034 schools got A1 grade. In the medium-wise analysis, English medium students got 81.92% and the performance of Gujarati medium students was slightly better at 82.94%.
GSEB HSC Results 2024: Highlights
The board said that those students who have obtained grade ‘E1’ or ‘E2’ in the subjects of external examination will have to appear in the compartment exam to improve their score.
